This wonderful antique French coiled snake Bangle was made during the Victorian era, Circa 1900.
Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, which I think you’ll agree is a lovely combination.
The bangle is beautifully engraved with a line of lovely Turquoise stones running across the head of the snake with red Garnet eyes as well.
The Garnet has been adored throughout history for it’s blazing red colour which hides beneath it’s dark surface. It is said to be a stone of purity, truth and a symbol of love and compassion.
Turquoise stones are considered a symbol of friendship and were once said to bring good fortune to the wearer.
The bangle is set in strong Silver gilt and boasts pristine French workmanship throughout.
This is a highly collectable French piece that coils beautifully around the wrist, a great talking piece!
